Juan Gabriel Vásquez

<strong>Juan Gabriel Vásquez Velandia</strong> (Bogotá, 1 de enero de 1973) es un escritor, periodista y traductor colombiano, entre cuyas obras se incluyen siete novelas, dos volúmenes de cuentos y dos libros de ensayos. Su novela más conocida es *El ruido de las cosas al caer,* por la que recibió, entre otras distinciones, el Premio Alfaguara de Novela y el Premio Literario Internacional IMPAC de Dublín.
