Lola St. Vil
<b>Lola St. Vil</b> (b. 1978) is an author, playwright and actress based on California. She is the author of the <i>Guardians</i> series of young adult novels. A play by St. Vil, <i>The Bones of Lesser Men</i>, won the NAACP award for Best Playwright in 2009. Born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn, St. Vil studied at <a href="http://shimer.edu">Shimer College</a> and Columbia College Chicago.
