Shawna Virago

Shawna Virago (she/her) is a transgender singer-songwriter and filmmaker. She has been performing a mix of folk, punk, and trans-americana since the early 1990s. Virago’s short films have been screened at over 50 film festivals in 15 countries. She is artistic director of the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival.
