When Mr. Lockersbie tottered into the police station to report seeing an unburied corpse in the cemetery, the night duty sergeant never expected there to be a real corpse. Detective George Rogers did expect to find one since a churchyard was the perfect place to hide an unwanted body. It wasn't until a gentleman breeder of butterflies was reported missing, that Rogers felt certain he had a nasty case of murder on his hands.
