Vehicles at war

"Vehicles at War" shows how military vehicles, from humble cargo trucks to tanks, were developed over the years to meet the changing styles of transport and warfare in the industrialized age. The complete transformation from using the horse as chief mode of transportation to complete mechanization took approximately forty years, and was not at an end until the beginning of World War II. Even during that conflict, a not insignificant portion of European armies still used the horse as their major means of transport.
