The Nephalim

The Nephalim is a story about how religion can go very wrong, but with a twist. In this tale it's the angels who seem to be misled and, because of the teachings of a newer cleric in their midst, have split their numbers. Some are in favour of an outright conquest of earth, while others oppose such an action. Those in favour quote a prophesy giving free access to, and control over earth, and move to speed things along. Those opposed will protect man as best they can. This is a story of man and angel working side by side to oppose a powerful force that would oppress mankind.
