A Call to Arms

Based on the true adventures of Sarah Emma Edmonds, who served for two years in the 2nd Michigan Volunteers as Private Frank Thompson. Sarah was raised on a farm by a father who wanted a son, and in 1861 she joins the Union army disguised as a man where she becomes a soldier, an army nurse, and a spy.
