A is for Animals is a month-long unit that introduces children to the animal kingdom. The units are divided into four weeks of activities. Each week is dedicated to a different type of animal habitat: deserts, polar regions forests and mountains jungles and tropics. The activities are intended for years 1-3. Each week of the unit features a song or songs to be sung to familiar tunes. The integrated units cover the English, maths, science, art and music key learning areas. Ages 5-7.
