Moving On

After RAMONA FARLEY lost her husband and her grammi, she packed Tom and Kat up and headed out west not knowing where she was going. When the factories in the area closed, EARLE JEFFERSON planned to move his wife and two sons out west where there was a car manufacturer hiring. His wife decided not to go. He packed up Scott and Stephen in the old clunker and headed on. Once his clunker broke down right outside of Theodore, Alabama, they caught a ride to Crossroad with a couple. He was introduced to Ramona and her girls, where they continued moving on.
