The Dragon Sword

A weapon he should not wield. A destiny he never desired. Can an unwilling hero save the world without losing his soul? Calibot Draco has it all. With a powerful patron and the love of a good man, the young poet has put both poverty and parental scorn behind him. But when his wizard father is murdered and leaves him a legendary magical sword, the tormented wordsmith faces a fate he tried so desperately to avoid. Charged with a mission he doesn’t want to fulfill, Calibot sets off from his comfortable home with only his lover and his father’s bumbling apprentice for company. And when he’s pursued by his power-mad uncle, a scheming sorcerer, and a vengeful earth spirit, the embattled estranged son fears his only true bequest is certain doom. With the future of The Known World resting heavily on his shoulders, can Calibot conquer his personal demons and at last find peace? The Dragon Sword is a thrilling LGBTQ+ fantasy novel.
